For the fans of Romee and Benji, here are a few photos of our time together for Thanksgiving in Santa Fe, and photos of our Christmas in Truckee. Barrett’s dad joined us for both occasions.

Romee is all dressed up, ready to go out on the town.

Barrett, Danni, and the grandkids came to Santa Fe for Thanksgiving.
We had so much fun!

Romee is “reading” my Healthy House book.

“Coloring together is fun. You don’t have to keep the colors inside the lines.”

Tom, Barrett’s father, drove up from Silver City area to join us for our Thanksgiving gathering.

One of Tom’s dogs joined us on the couch.

Before I arrived in Truckee for the Christmas gathering, the family met with Santa Klaus, including Danni’s mother, father, and sister, Nicole.

Another gathering of the local children to be with Santa Klaus.

Romee is quite a character.

It looks like Benji and Romee might end up becoming doctors.

Romee is using her stethoscope to check Benji’s heart.

Romee likes trying just about everything.

And she especially likes learning how to ski, even though she’s only two-and-one-half years old.

Benji is 15 months old and not quite ready to try out skiing, like his big sister, but he loves the outdoors.

I could not imagine more beautiful grandchildren. It is heartwarming, having known you for some years, to see them in your house. I especially like the photo of Romee checking Benji’s heart in your office, with the look of quiet concern on her face.
Seeing her posing with skis — what she inherited from you is undeniable!
~Much love~
